At Northern we offer a supportive, inclusive and nurturing environment and understand that the children’s emotional needs throughout their journey needs support.

Our military children are offered additional support to nurture their wellbeing when a parent works away. We understand it can be an unsettling time for them so they are included in our Military Matters group.

This group supports the children weekly in a small friendly, calming environment where they can talk about how they are feeling, where their parents have travelled to and play games with the other military children. We also offer support to their families via meetings when they require it.

We are currently working towards becoming a forces friendly provider and our forces friendly champions are Miss Clare Emery and Mrs Tanya Bowstead.
